New York’s hottest jewelry store, Sea Glass, is closing its doors this weekend.
The store, which opened in 2016, had more than 1,000 employees.
Owner Matt Jorgensen announced the closure on Twitter.
“We want to thank everyone who has been part of Sea Glass over the last eight years,” Jorgenson wrote in a statement.
“We have had a tremendous impact on our communities and neighborhoods and we would like to extend a special thank you to everyone that has made Sea Glass such a part of our lives.
We wish everyone well as we move forward.”
The store’s website lists a few employees who will be taking over the store in an effort to grow and expand the company.
