The designer of the David Yursman jewelry line has a surprising number of ties to the jewellery business.
The designer has worked for various brands, including Glamour, L’Oréal, and Stella McCartney.
In an interview with Fashionista, Yurmans daughter and co-founder, Laura, described the family business as a product of his father’s work as an architect.
“When I think about the ‘jeweler’s life’ I think of the jeweller’s relationship to his art,” she said.
“We were very much a product line, so we’ve always been involved in the jewellers world.
We wanted to create a product for people who wanted a very unique, very special jewellery, and that’s what we wanted to do.”
The Yurms have also been a key part of the design of the collection, which has a lot of nods to the design heritage of the British Empire.
Yurmen said that as he grew up he always felt like he had to be a good student and “had to be able to look good in clothes.”
The jewelry designer also spoke about his family’s history in the fashion industry.
“I grew up in a family that was really into clothes and a lot about the fashion world.
My father was always into fashion, he worked in the clothing industry for 30 years,” he said.
David Yurtmans Jewelry Collection: 10 Pieces of Iconic Fashion Jewelry designer David Yurym was born in 1920 in the Soviet Union.
He started working at the Moscow Mint when he was four years old, and later moved to London to study art at the Royal Academy of Art.
After working in the Fashion industry for several years, he returned to Moscow to open his own business.
In 1955, he opened his own fashion store, David Yumish, which quickly gained a reputation for high quality products.
Yurymet’s work became a major influence on the designs of the likes of Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, and even Chanel.
He also created the “golden rule” for his own line of jewelry, which is designed to reflect his own personality.
His designs also inspired the creation of the gold bracelet, the “Pyranthus”, and the “pink panda” bracelet, among other items.
Yurtman’s own family is also well known in the art world.
His sister, Eva, is a member of the French National Academy of Arts.
“The Yurm’s have a huge influence in the history of the art and design world, and I believe that their influence can be seen in everything from the way they are portrayed in the works of other designers to their involvement in the designs and the work of their designers,” Yurmins daughter Laura Yurmely, said.
Yumis sister, Joanna, also has a long-standing connection to the fashion and design community.
Her work has been exhibited at major fashion shows across the world, including New York Fashion Week.
In 2007, she founded the fashion company J&J, which features works by artists including Karl Lagerfeld, Yves Saint Laurent, and Marc Jacobs.
The Yurtm’s also hold an impressive collection of designer handbags.
“There are a lot more jewellery designs from the David and Laura Yurtms than the Yurims,” Laura Yurymely said.
“[David Yurma] is very well known, but the collections are more than just his jewellery.
He’s very important to the designers, so the collection is really important.”
